2011 Winner Richard Swor "The Wall" at mile 1 Location and Start TimeThe race will begin and end at the Bryan Soccer Complex parking lot at 6102 South Shore Rd. in Browns Summit, NC There is a large parking area and plenty of refreshments will be provided to participants. The 15 mile race will begin promptly at 10 am and the 8 mile will begin at 10:30.
CourseThe 15 mile course rolls along the singletrack watershed trails of the Greensboro Trails System encompassing the Townsend, Blue Heron, Peninsula and Osprey trails in a lollipop fashion. The trails have rolling hills along the coastline with multiple bridge/stream crossings. The trails are marked by white blazes on trees to guide runners along. Local wildlife including Bald Eagles, Heron, Wild Turkey and Deer can be spotted along the course. The 8 mile course will go out and back on the Townsend trail turning around at the aid station on Yanceyville Rd. Aid StationsAid stations will be located at approximately miles 4, 7.5, 9, and 11 of the 15 mile course and mile 4 of the 8 mile race. Aid stations are stocked with water, HEED, trail cookies, and gels.

RegistrationOnline registration is closed. Registration will be available at number pick up at Off'n Running Sports and on race morning. Packet Pick-up Number pick-up will be Friday, January 13th from 12 pm - 7 pm at Off'n Running Sports Race day Number pick up and registration will be at the race site from 8 - 9:30 am T-shirts will be given out upon completion of the race AwardsFinishers will receive a hoody Course Record Bonus. $100 will be given to the winners of the 15-mile race if they can beat the course record set in 2011. Check with Race Director for details. Top 3 overall male and female finishers will receive awards. The top 3 in each age group (10 year increments) will receive awards. Team competition will be cross-country style scoring among first 5 team finishers. Finishers are scored across all races. Please remember to enter team name when registering. Prizes will be given to top 5 team scorers
