BB&T-RCR Thin Mint Sprint

The Girl Scouts, Tarheel Triad Council, Inc. is happy to announce the 2008 plans for the Thin Mint Sprint 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run. Last year, we celebrated as 700 participants joined us for a great event. We hope to have as much fun and large crowds again this year.

The course for the 5K and Fun Run are out and back races beginning and ending at the Girl Scout Learning Center. Directions are available on our web site.

Awards will be given in the different age brackets, females and males, and overall winners.

Girl Scouts $10
Non-Girl Scouts $13
5 K Run/Walk
Girl Scouts $15 (On or before Aug 15)
Non-Girl Scouts $18 (After Aug 15)
Girl Scouts $20 (On or before Aug 15)
Von-Girl Scouts $23 (after Aug 15)

T-Shirts will be given free to all 5K participants who register before August 15. They are not guaranteed after this date.

Check out the Thin Mint Sprint Marathon Patch Program. Anyone can participate in this opportunity- Girl Scouts, friends of Girl Scouts, parents, siblings. Individuals will complete 23 miles before race day and finish the last 3.1 miles (5K) on race day. Refer to the information and running log.

All proceeds go to support programs, scholarships, and life changing opportunities for girls in the Piedmont.
